"I'm suggesting to the Republican Party do not make any deal on anything" -- Trump, Mr. Art of the Deal, who has now shot down at least seven bipartisan "deals" to fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. For clarity, active duty Coast Guard have so far received paychecks via temporary funding measures, but that does NOT guarantee any future payments. The Coast Guard civilian workforce is NOT being paid, same as TSA. Some FEMA personnel are being paid via the Disaster Relief Fund (until it runs out of money), but thousands of others are working without pay, again same as TSA. Congress leaves town tomorrow for another two week vacation. Because of Trump's orders, his own public words to the Republican Party, there will be no legislation today. So, it's a minimum of another two, probably three, weeks of Trump's extortion. Make no mistake: This is ENTIRELY ON TRUMP AND REPUBLICANS. We shall remember!
