End Political Corruption

To: Sen. Padilla, Rep. Chu, Sen. Schiff

From: A verified voter in Pasadena, CA

June 18

Democracy requires politicians to work for their constituents—not the highest bidder. There are three key reforms to eliminate corporate influence in government: Ban Lobbyist Gifts: No more direct or indirect financial incentives for politicians. End Congressional Stock Trading: Politicians shouldn't profit from insider information. Pass a Constitutional Amendment: Permanently keep money out of politics by giving states the right to regulate campaign spending and assert that only human beings, not corporations, possess constitutional rights.
