Co-sponsor the Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act of 2026. This bill would generate $6.2 trillion over ten years — a number that reflects just how extreme wealth concentration has become. America's 905 billionaires are now worth a combined $7.8 trillion, up more than 25% in a single year, while research from UC Berkeley economists Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman confirms the richest Americans already pay a lower effective tax rate than everyone else.
A 2% annual tax on net worth above $50 million affects roughly 260,000 households out of hundreds of millions. That's not a broad tax burden — it's a targeted correction to a system that has been tilted in one direction for decades. Nearly 60% of Americans support higher taxes on the wealthy, according to a 2025 Pew Research poll. Massachusetts, Washington state, and New York City are already moving in this direction. The federal government should too. Add your name to this bill.
