Impeach Trump for endangering human rights through inflammatory rhetoric

To: Rep. McBath

From: A constituent in Powder Springs, GA

February 6, 2025

I concur with Rep. Al Green's stance on the concerning nature of President Trump's remarks regarding Gaza. His suggestion of potential ethnic cleansing and U.S. takeover of the region is deeply troubling and contrary to American values of human rights and self-determination. Such inflammatory rhetoric only serves to further destabilize an already volatile situation in the Middle East. I urge you to join Rep. Al Green and others in pursuing impeachment proceedings against President Trump for these egregious statements. Allowing such dangerous rhetoric from the highest office to go unchecked undermines our democratic institutions and emboldens further injustice globally. It is a moral imperative that we hold our leaders accountable when they promote ideologies antithetical to human dignity and international cooperation. The path forward requires a grassroots movement demanding accountability through constitutional means. I encourage you to voice your support for impeachment to your fellow representatives as well as to the American people, understanding that you were voted into this place of power because your state put their trust in you that you would listen to their concerns, and cast your votes for the betterment of our nation, not the betterment of lining a billionaires pockets. Upholding our principles is essential to preserving justice and human rights at home and abroad. Together, we can take a stand against injustice in all its forms.
