No one believes Trump’s attacks on Venezuela have anything to do about stopping drug trafficking. He just pardoned Rubio’s brother-in-law for cocaine trafficking. Both of these cannot be true! These attacks are about 1) oil including the pending sale of the Citgo refinery network; 2) power grabs, possibly even linked to closed-door agreements with Putin, 3) distraction from the Epstein files and Jack Smith’s testimony, and 4) pure ego and cruelty. The number of people that have been killed from attacks on Venezuela including the small boats some of which may have been fishing boats is now well over 100. The US is behaving like Putin for all the world to see. “If the United States asserts the right to use military force to invade and capture foreign leaders it accuses of criminal conduct, what prevents China from claiming the same authority over Taiwan’s leadership? What stops Vladimir Putin from asserting similar justification to abduct Ukraine’s president?
