The budget bill contains a ban that would prevent new state-led regulations of AI and block dozens of states from enforcing preexisting AI regulations and oversight structures. This is incredibly dangerous since we have no idea what effects AI will have on society.  Please fight against this provision and all the other damaging parts of the budget bill.
