Support Inherent Contempt Charges Against AG Bondi for Refusing to Release Epstein Files
I am writing to urge you to support Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna in drafting inherent contempt charges against Attorney General Pam Bondi for her refusal to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
The facts are clear: Congress passed H.R. 4405 with overwhelming bipartisan support—427-1 in the House and unanimously in the Senate. This law required the Department of Justice to release the entirety of the Epstein files by December 19th. That deadline has passed, and AG Bondi has failed to comply with the law.
This is not a partisan issue. This is about transparency, accountability, and justice for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein's heinous sex trafficking operation. The American people deserve to know the full truth about who was involved in these crimes.
During the 2024 campaign, President Trump promised to release these files. AG Bondi publicly stated the list was sitting on her desk. Yet when the moment came to follow through, the DOJ reversed course, claiming no client list existed and declining to release evidence.
Inherent contempt charges would allow Congress to bypass the courts and hold AG Bondi personally accountable for her defiance of the law. If she continues to refuse compliance, she should face consequences, including imprisonment.
I strongly urge you to stand with Representatives Massie and Khanna and demand that AG Bondi release the Epstein files immediately or face inherent contempt charges. The victims of this trafficking ring and the American people deserve nothing less than full transparency.
Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.
