Strengthen Sanctions on Russia, Stand Firm with Ukraine

I write as a concerned American citizen who believes in peace through strength - a principle you have championed throughout your career. It is in that spirit that I urge you to take decisive action against Russia and in support of Ukraine.
Putin's Russia is not a neutral actor. It actively supports Iran, North Korea, and other adversaries working against American interests. A weakened, emboldened Russia is a direct threat to U.S. national security and global stability. Strength in the face of that threat is not optional — it is essential.
I respectfully urge your administration to:
- Reinstate all paused sanctions on Russia and introduce new, tougher measures targeting Russian energy revenues, financial institutions, and Putin's inner circle.
- Urgently increase direct military support to Ukraine, including accelerated delivery of Patriot air defense missiles and other critical systems the Ukrainians have requested.
Ukraine is not asking American soldiers to fight its war. It is asking for the tools to fight its own - and doing so with remarkable resolve. Supporting Ukraine is not charity; it is strategic investment in a world where American leadership still means something.
Mr. President, you have shown that you are willing to make tough calls when America's interests demand it. This is one of those moments. A strong, unambiguous stance against Russia - through sanctions and sustained military support for Ukraine - will reinforce American credibility and deter further aggression.
Thank you for your service to our country. I trust you will act with the strength this moment requires.
