So President Musk is now targeting the CIA and NOAA. He’s got his hands on and his crew of children tearing through federal payment systems and citizens’ personal and financial information. There’s a tuberculosis outbreak spreading from Kansas into Ohio, but the gagged and bound CDC is silent about it. God knows what’s going on with NIH (good thing we’ve cured cancer and Alzheimer’s, right?) And USAID is no longer around to help save people around the world from terrible diseases like Ebola.
Does any of this sound bad to you? I’m just asking, because you haven’t said squat about it. I guess it’s a good thing we don’t have any foreign enemies looking to harm this country. Or that we don’t live in a place where advance notice of bad weather is important. And I’m sure your constituents will understand when their various benefits or contract payments don’t show up.
Maybe this is all fine with you, but I’m somewhat confused. I mean, I’m old enough to remember when Republicans got all heated up about “unelected bureaucrats” and “presidential overreach.” When “George Soros” was a shibboleth the GOP used to scare children. But that was all before President Musk, right? Now billionaires buying the country and cutting it up for scrap is good, I guess. Or at least you seem perfectly fine with it.
You need to take down that American flag I’m sure you have displayed in your office. You don’t deserve to be anywhere near it.
