I am writing to express serious concern about the treatment of individuals who were legally residing in the United States, committed no crimes, and were nonetheless removed or are being denied the opportunity to return and receive the due process guaranteed under our laws and Constitution. This is a humanitarian and constitutional issue. These individuals followed the law. They built lives here, contributed to their communities, and deserve to have their cases reviewed fairly and transparently—not to be cast aside or treated as disposable. There are U.S. deportation processes in place that need to be followed and it is not what is currently happening by the Trump administration. Due process or fact finding is an important reason in what makes America great and it must be executed. I respectfully urge you to:
•Bring back Kilmar Abrego Garcia (from Maryland) to the U.S. who was wrongly deported to the El Salvador prison
•Advocate for the immediate return of other individuals who were legally present and removed without due process
•Investigate the circumstances of such removals to ensure rights were not violated
•Push for policies that uphold due process, dignity, and the rule of law, regardless of nationality or background
Denying someone the opportunity to defend themselves or clarify their legal status is not just a policy failure—it is a moral one. America's strength lies in its commitment to justice.
Now is the time to live up to that promise. You need to pressure the Trump administration to swiftly and safely return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the U.S. immediately as the federal courts, including the Supreme Court, have ordered them to do so.
