I am a constituent living in Princeton MN. I’m writing to urge you to support H.Res. 1155, the resolution to impeach President Donald J. Trump for high crimes and misdemeanors. Many Minnesotans—across parties and regions—believe that no president should be exempt from accountability when serious allegations of misconduct arise. Public reporting, sworn testimony, and ongoing investigations have raised substantial concerns about abuses of power, obstruction, and conduct that many legal experts describe as incompatible with the constitutional duties of the presidency. When evidence of this magnitude is placed before Congress, the House has a responsibility to act. Supporting H.Res. 1155 would demonstrate that you believe in the principle that the rule of law applies to every elected official, including the President. It would also show that you are willing to put constitutional duty above political pressure, something many constituents in Minnesota’s 8th District are looking for in their representatives. I am asking you to take this resolution seriously, to review the evidence with independence and integrity, and to publicly explain your position to the people you serve. Minnesotans deserve clarity about where their elected leaders stand when the question before Congress is whether a president has violated the public trust. Thank you for your time.
