The White House website indicates that President Trump said he plans not to cut social security. However, Elon Musk has made statements to the contrary. It certainly seems like Musk is calling the shots, or maybe it's better to say that in the Musk-Trump relationship, Musk is the one holding the cards. I have family who will be homeless if their benefits are cut. The American people voted for a Republican majority trusting that social security would not be touched. As my elected representative, I ask that you remind the President about his promises to the American people about social security. Words are not enough from President Trump on this. We need to see action from the administration to bolster social security. Millions of Americans are relying on the President to protect the system that they paid into. Social security is not an entitlement. Social security is paid into. Social security is earned money.
