had years to fix this. The pandemic proved that telehealth works for medical care. Instead of modernizing Medicare law, Congress keeps kicking the issue care issue, not a partisan one. As your constituent and a Medicare patient, I am asking you to push for permanent reform of Medicare telehealth. Temporary extensions are not policy. The y create fear, confusion, and reduced access to care for people who rely on primary care and specialty follow-ups, including oncology care. Congress has lows Medicare patients to receive medical care via telehealth from home, without outdated geographic or facility restrictions. This is a basic access-to- down the road.
