I am upset about the DOGE attack on Americorps, a program that allows caring young people to spend a year volunteering in some of our nation’s most vulnerable communities. Like everything DOGE does, it makes no sense to cut such a program, if good government and a healthy society are the goal. Those are, as we know, not DOGE’s goal, of course. I’m writing to ask you to speak up for Americorps for the sake of everyone it serves. Thank you.
