Much as I appreciate our independent redistricting process I support fighting fire with fire. Our whole democracy is at stake with Trump ordering Texas and other red states to squeeze out more Republican districts for the midterms. He is taking our democracy apart and we need to take back the House at the very least to have some level of protection against his depredations. Please support our own redistricting to fight this move. Hopefully we can then pass federal legislation in the future to mandate nonpartisan redistricting nationwide and a strengthening of the Voting Rights Act.
