Please vote against the "CLARITY Act." Its purported benefits to employment and widespread wealth are false. Cryptocurrency has existed since 2009. Only the earliest adopters have gotten rich, and it is not at all clear that it brought about any employment boom. Further, the act would narrow the government's authority to regulate crypto, making it even more attractive as an exchange medium for crime. The act is designed mainly to line the pockets of the already super rich and will accelerate crime as a side effect. Please vote NO and persuade other members of Congress to do the same.
