I urge you to open a full investigation into Jared Kushner’s involvement in Middle East policy and the current war with Iran. President Trump publicly stated that Kushner helped convince him to attack Iran. That claim raises serious conflicts of interest because the Saudi government invested $2 billion in Kushner’s private fund, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reportedly pushed for military action against Iran at the same time. American taxpayers now carry the cost of this war. The first twelve days alone cost roughly $16.5 billion. Thousands of people have already died, including American service members. These losses demand answers. We cannot allow private financial interests to shape decisions that send Americans into combat and destabilize an entire region. Congress must determine why we entered this war, who influenced the decision, and who stands to profit from it. The American people deserve transparency, and our soldiers deserve leadership that acts in the national interest—not in the financial interests of politically connected families. I ask you to launch a thorough investigation immediately.
