As a mother and constituent in Hesperia, CA, I am writing with extreme urgency. The President's threat that "a whole civilization will die tonight" and the destruction of all civilian infrastructure in Iran is collective punishment of 88 million people, in violation of the Geneva Conventions. I am also alarmed by media figures openly encouraging nuclear weapon use. I urge you to publicly oppose tonight's escalation, assert Congress's constitutional war powers, demand an immediate ceasefire, and condemn any discussion of nuclear weapon use.
