Regarding the confirmation of Todd Blanche for district attorney, I am writing to thank you and other members of the committee for refusing to give him a pass without a written guarantee that he will quash the president’s $1.8 billion slush fund. As important, we are glad to hear that you are not planning to rubber stamp any retroactive immunity from IRS investigations. There are already serious questions about corruption within this administration, and this is a bridge too far. Thank you for your service.
