I’m writing because I’m deeply troubled by the Justice Department’s efforts to revoke citizenship from naturalized Americans. This policy punishes people twice while tearing families apart. Taking away citizenship through civil courts denies people basic legal rights. It also makes citizenship seem temporary rather than permanent. I ask you to oppose this unfair approach. Citizenship should be secure, not something the government can take away easily.
