The President’s recent announcement to remove tens of thousands of so-called “criminal migrants” from the United States and house them at Guantanamo Bay has chilling parallels to Nazi Germany’s establishment of concentration camps during the Holocaust.
While I would like to believe that the US military is not capable of the same atrocities, housing migrants in an isolated military base in a country that is intentionally difficult for American journalists and human rights watch dogs to access, and where terrible crimes were committed under the war on terror, without sufficient facilities to house them is an evil act that we cannot tolerate.
I am BEGGING you to do everything within your power to prevent this, including withholding funding to the federal government and refusing any cooperation with Trump’s administration.
