Investigate Chief Justice Roberts for Ethics Violations and Remove Him From the Court I need you to open an investigation into Chief Justice John Roberts for ethics violations and corruption, support his removal from the Supreme Court, and back disbarment proceedings against him. Whistleblower documents show Roberts's wife earned over $10 million in commissions from 2007 to 2014 as a legal recruiter placing lawyers at firms that regularly argued before the Supreme Court. WilmerHale alone had 18 cases in 2016. Hogan Lovells represented nearly 10% of the Court's docket in recent terms. Across two decades, firms paying his household argued more than 500 cases before him. He never recused on spousal income grounds, violating 28 U.S.C. § 455. Roberts mischaracterized his wife's commission income as "salary" on sixteen years of federal disclosure forms. Richard Painter, the chief White House ethics lawyer who prepared Roberts for confirmation, said Roberts "fudged the details" and "misleadingly described his wife's earnings." After Business Insider published the whistleblower documents in 2023, Roberts quietly corrected his forms. This violates 18 U.S.C. § 1001, which makes knowingly false statements to the federal government a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. The Supreme Court has no enforcement mechanism for its ethics code. Roberts declined to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. The system only works if you act.
