We the people are not going to continue to tolerate Congress surrendering its constitutional authority while dragging this country into unauthorized war.
The War Powers Act was never meant to be a loophole for endless military action. The administration’s own timeline ran out, yet military operations, blockades, and exchanges of fire have continued while Congress hides behind excuses instead of doing its job. Sending lawmakers home early to avoid a vote on war powers is not leadership—it is cowardice and an abdication of duty.
Congress alone has the power to declare war. If you continue choosing political loyalty over your constitutional oath, do not expect us to continue voting for people who refuse to defend the Constitution or the American people. Enough is enough.
