I'm a member of Indivisible Westside Los Angeles. I'm writing out to demand that you start loudly advocating for consequences for the many members of this lawless administration, up to and including jail time and impeachment. If you can’t do this now, how are we supposed to trust that you will do it should Democrats regain power in the midterms? We need to know that our work isn’t in vain–that you will stand up for us like we have been standing up for you. Trump endangers everyone in this country on a daily basis, even more so than in his previous term, and he cannot simply be waited out this time around. People are dying, children are being imprisoned, and we are embroiled in a war that was illegally started and shouldn't even be happening, sending prices for everything through the roof. We thank you for standing firm in rejecting any funding for DHS, and we hope that you will stand strong against the SAVE Act. If you can’t or won’t do these things, you need to step aside so that someone who will can take your place.
