I am writing out of incredible concern from reports I am seeing that the United States is considering assisting Israel in stripping custodianship of the Al-Aqsa mosque from Jordan for Israel to take control over. I want to register my opposition to our country meddling in the region due to the cascading spiral of instability and war that these actions could cause. I would like to see Congress formally denounce any plans of involvement in this and to have investigations opened into the secretary of defense if there is any hint of movement on plans to bring this to fruition.
