I am very concerned about the threat of armed ICE officers being stationed at Michigan's polling places in November. We're entitled to free and fair elections in a representative democracy, but that is not what the Trump administration intends to do, based on the statem ents they have made. I urge you to plan for the strong possibility that Trump will send an armed militia to our polling places. Your plan to thwart his intimidation and disenfranchisement should include forceful action, not just verbal statements and warnings. PUT THE MICHIGAN STATE POLICE AT OUR POLLING PLACES. GIVE THEM THE AUTHORITY TO ARREST ANY ARMED MILITIA AT THE POLLING PLACES.
