I understand that Senator Chris Van Hollen has introduced a priveleged resolution that would order the Trump administration to provide Congress with a detailed accounting of Israel’s human rights practices in the West Bank. We need this badly! Settler violence rose 30 percent during the first months of 2025 compared with the same period a year earlier, and it’s grown worse since then. Innocent people are dying—many of them children—and the US is helping to fund it. J Street feels that this situation requires sanctions, but we can start with just shining a light on what’s happening. Senator Van Hollen’s privileged resolution would mandate that. Please ask the Senator to support it. Thanks!
