Investigate and block the Trump administration's ongoing interference in the 2026 midterm elections before Election Day on November 3. With voting already underway, the administration has sued California to stop thousands of ballots from being counted, sued Alaska to preemptively block certification of a Senate race if the Republican loses, and threatened election officials in all 58 California counties with criminal prosecution. Trump personally admitted he ordered the Alaska lawsuit.
This is not hypothetical. Armed federal agents have gone door to door questioning voters about their immigration status and voting history. A U.S. attorney in Texas told voters on the first day of early voting, "I will hunt you down." Federal agents searched the home of a sitting member of Congress 22 days before her reelection. Attorney General Todd Blanche refused to rule out blocking states from certifying their results entirely.
These actions are designed to sow chaos, intimidate voters, and manufacture pretexts to overturn results the administration dislikes. State courts, federal judges, and election officials across the country have already pushed back. Every elected official who values free and fair elections must do the same, loudly and immediately.
