I owe you an apology, I believe. When I emailed you yesterday, I was under the impression that you had voted against the first bipartisan spending bill. Upon following the news surrounding the threatened shutdown (now averted) this morning, I see that you voted responsibly to keep the government open. I wanted to thank you for voting throughout this situation in favor of the American people and not caving to the whims of the less serious among your party who just want to bring it all down. Thank you.
