I’m writing to urge you to vote NO on Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill.” As one of your constituents, I find this bill dangerous, dishonest, and potentially lethal for working-class Americans like my family. It’s not policy—it’s cruelty wrapped in a PR slogan. This bill guts funding from critical services like Medicare, Medicaid, disability benefits, public education, and environmental protections. These are not abstract budget cuts—they’re death sentences for real people. My mother is disabled. She relies on her benefits to pay for medication and bills. Cutting those lifelines will leave her—and millions like her—without care. Here’s what your vote would support: Medicaid & Medicare cuts: Up to $880 billion cut from Medicaid over 10 years. That means 10–16 million people could lose healthcare coverage. Medicare faces a 4% funding cut, jeopardizing care for seniors and the disabled. Disability programs and prescription access: My mom’s meds don’t pay for themselves. Without her benefits, she’ll go without. And she won’t be alone. Thousands will die. Public education cuts: The bill slashes funding for public schools and Pell Grants while promoting school voucher programs that weaken our public education system. Environmental rollbacks: It removes clean air and water protections and eliminates green energy investments, harming both public health and working-class communities. And for what? So billionaires can hoard more wealth while everyday people suffer? The Congressional Budget Office estimates this bill could increase the deficit by $2.4 trillion—so don’t call this fiscal responsibility. This bill is a declaration of war on the sick, the poor, the disabled, and the working class. If you support it, you are not defending freedom—you are attacking survival. You were elected to represent all of us—not just the wealthy and not just those who agree with you politically. Vote NO on the Big Beautiful Bill. I’ll be watching your vote.
