I am a constituent and member of Indivisible Westside LA. I wanted to thank the Senator for committing to vote NO on cloture and NO in this disastrous budget bill that would codify President Trump and shadow president Elon Musk’s cuts to government departments and services. These are unprecedented times and I understand this was difficult decision; I commend you for doing what it takes to stand up for democracy and our constitution. I am now asking you to call for a new senate minority leader. I am furious that Chuck Schumer is going again the will of his constituents and supporting President Trump and Republicans who allowed no Democratic input into this bill by voting YES, allowing cover for other Senators to vote to pass the bill. I would like a senate minority leader that Trump does not thank. He is clearly not the leader we need in this moment; we need someone who has courage, conviction and frankly, a spine. I will not donate to or volunteer for any democratic candidates until he removed from leadership if he votes yes. Thank you for your consideration.
