I am asking you to vote against cutting the Arkansas public television board. AETN is such a valuable source of information for all citizens of our state and such an amazing educational resource for our state that is run by a group of talented and devoted staff members that do an amazing job! Please keep the public education board intact and allow them to keep leading and directing AETN. Our state public broadcasting network provides such an important resource for our state, and getting rid of the board for this wonderful organization would be detrimental to the continuation and success of AETN. The department of education does not need to take over and direct our public television board, as our department of education is already overloaded and overworked, and has too many other areas that need their attention at the moment. The AETN board is doing a phenomenal job on their own! Keep our AETN board intact and let them continue to direct the future of our public broadcasting, provide quality programs and oversee our state public television network! Please do not get rid of the board at AETN!
