I am writing today to urge you to use every tool at your disposal to prevent Paramount from acquiring Warner Bros. This is a clear violation of the public trust. It is impossible to put into words the harm this acquisition would do to the people of New York. Antitrust laws at the state and federal level are clear about the consolidation of corporations in the pursuit of monopolies. You must direct the Attorney General's Antitrust Bureau to put an end to this power grab. You must create and endorse legislation to crush these billionaires and stop their unchecked destruction of a balanced media and corporate landscape. Put an end to this madness and strike a blow for the people you represent.
