I am extremely disappointed in the recent vote at the federal level to open the boundary waters to mining. A type of mining that has a nearly 100% track record of pollution. I’m writing to you to beg that you do everything in your power to stop this before it begins. Don’t play nice. Playing nice and watching the state get poisoned so that some foreign mining company CEO’s can get rich would be a horrible legacy for Minnesota. Please, stop this before it even starts.
