I am writing you as just one, but I share the same sentiment as many. These last few years those of you in office have been the most disappointing examples of adulthood, let alone leadership. My generation was born too late to have faith that you’ll hear us. But if you don’t do anything to help those hostages from the Handala, hell is going to be waiting, warmly. The immense amount of human life lost in the genocide has been incomprehensible. And now to see specifically the women and a union leader riding on a symbol of freedom and hope left behind is a hurt even closer to home. Find your humanity. Do something.
