An Open Letter

To: Sen. Fetterman, Sen. McCormick

From: A constituent in Palmyra, PA

February 13

I am writing as a citizen who would not be able to vote with the SAVE ACT. I am white. Middle age. Born here and my parents were born here, as were THEIR parents. And I would not be permitted to vote, AS A CITIZEN, because I cannot afford a passport. In addition, I have NEVER had any legal issues, but this would exclude me. This save act panders only to a president with mental health issues. It does not solve anything, instead overcomplicates a process that too many already to not participate in. State-issued photo ID is perfectly valid and needs to stay that way. Otherwise, what was the point of the REAL id, except to line your pockets? I'm urging you to vote AGAINST the save act. Looking forward to voting you out...
