HOW MANY MORE TIMES DO YOU NEED TO HEAR THIS? DO YOUR JOBS

"If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don't obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT," Trump wrote this morning on social media. The Supreme Court has ruled that the president alone can determine if the act's conditions have been met. Do you think Donald Trump has the judgement and/or temperament to be the sole arbiter of aiming the US military at American citizens? Trump has for weeks derided the state's Democratic leaders and called the Somali community in the area "garbage" who should be "thrown out" of the country. He has already sent nearly 3,000 federal officers into the Minneapolis area, who have carried guns through the city streets, wearing military-style camouflage gear and masks that hide their faces. They have been met by loud, often angry protests by residents, some blowing whistles or banging tambourines. The agents have arrested both immigrants and protesters, at times smashing windows and pulling people from their cars, and have been shouted at for several episodes where they have stopped Black and Latino US citizens and demanded identification. He is creating civil war in our country while threatening to send troops to Iran to HELP their protestors. Meanwhile we are watching a potential WWIII being fomented by Mr. Trump as well. His obsession with Greenland is imperiling world peace. And threatens to destroy the NATO alliance. We have, have had, a military presence in Greenland. We are a NATO member. His fixation on acquiring Greenland, if achieved, would make no one in the world happier than Putin. Because if Trump takes Greenland by force, NATO nations either react with a World War or NATO becomes obsolete. And with NATO obsolete, Putin can begin to have his way with Europe. Or who knows, if that happens, maybe Putin will make an alliance with China to acquire America. Who would stop that partnership? NATO? Right now the American military is chasing Trump’s ever-changing Sharpie lines across the world’s maps. Why wouldn’t our enemies be tempted to take advantage of the fact that the US has obliterated the most powerful alliance in history? While also scattering American forces around the globe in showpiece operations that have more to do with Trump’s vanity than with sound strategy. They have surely already noticed that the US defense and intelligence services are in the hands of unqualified loyalists. And that so far Trump’s plans for improving the battle readiness of the American military are mostly limited to pictures of make-believe battleships that will never be built. The GOP Congress can stop, impede, and compel on all the dangerous scenarios growing larger by the moment. Why don’t you? Why won’t you? Why do you allow yourselves to be bullied into making votes you don’t want to make? Or not making votes you do want to make? Why is it the only time you seem to express real opinions/leadership is when you are heading for the exit and don’t have to worry about political pressure from a president you’re supposed to put a check on? Why do you continue to sit on the sidelines and declare all is well when it most assuredly is not? We the people know it’s not. And that’s why we’re in the streets. Because you won’t do the job you were elected to do.
