I’m disgusted by the actions of Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and JD Vance. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are in danger. Rights for women, people of color, LGBTQIA+, the disabled, the sick- are in danger. Funding for important medical research is in danger. Elon Musk is profiting from all the changes he is making and the contracts he is taking for his own companies. Musk is an unelected billionaire bureaucrat with only his own interest. Our European allies are being maligned by Vance. Our signed treaties are being ignored. Our president thinks he is above the law and is actively trying to circumvent the constitution and Congress. As Congress people, you need to uphold the constitution and not the whims of a wannabe dictator and his billionaire minions. And especially not one who actively caters to white supremacists. They are trying to make this country over into a fundamentalist Christian society run by oligarchs. It is your job to uphold the constitution and follow the law. Not to follow any man. What are you doing? People are angry. People are scared. People will remember when it’s time to vote again. Do what is right. Trump isn’t looking out for us. He’s looking out for himself and other billionaires. We elected you to represent us. Stand up and do what you were elected to do.
