Support SB 79

To: Asm. McKinnor, Gov. Newsom, Sen. Richardson

From: A constituent in Hawthorne, CA

May 31, 2025

I am a constituent expressing my strong support for SB 79 authored by Senator Scott Wiener. LA county is investing in the most ambitious expansion of transit in the country. Now we need to make sure Angelenos can access homes near those huge transit investments. By increasing maximum density within close distance of high capacity transit stops, SB 79 addresses both our housing crisis and our challenges in funding frequent and reliable transit. Please join me in supporting this transformative bill.
