I have just heard one of the Canadian leaders impose, a 25% tariff on electricity. They supply to Minnesota, Michigan, and New York. It is not legal for the president to put on tariffs unless there is a security risk. As in the possibility of war time. When is Congress i.e. when are the senators, and the representatives going to tell Trump that they are going to go to court. To protect the American people. And American corporations? It is stunning to me and so many of us to watch you sit there and never say a word to anything he does. This current president breaks the law day in and day out. The first article of the constitution talks about Congress. You are our elected representatives. You are supposed to be working on the part of the voters, the people. Article 2 of the constitution addresses the executive i.e. the president. He/she is supposed to execute the laws. So article one of the constitution, Congress is MIA. Never do you hold Trump accountable. I don’t understand. On January 20, 2025 the economy of the United States had a soft landing and was thriving. Inflation was almost down to 2%. Inside of six weeks we are seeing the economy contract by 6%. Yes there are some of us who are actually paying attention. Are any of you? Now, there will be a recession. Completely avoidable. Actually, Trump is doing everything he can to cause great economic damage. And you’re all sitting there watching him.
