Scrutinize unfit nominees for critical leadership roles

To: Sen. Hickenlooper, Sen. Bennet, Rep. Lamborn

From: A verified voter in Colorado Springs, CO

December 3

The American public deserves trustworthy, qualified leaders dedicated to upholding the nation's best interests. Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s history of spreading misinformation about vaccines and public health matters raises serious concerns about his ability to lead the Department of Health and Human Services effectively and responsibly. Similarly, Kash Patel's extreme partisan background and promotion of baseless conspiracy theories call into question whether he can serve as an impartial FBI director committed to the rule of law. Dr. Mehmet Oz's lack of public health experience and promotion of controversial medical opinions also cast doubt on his suitability to run the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. I urge you to carefully scrutinize these nominees' backgrounds and records during the confirmation process. Appointing them could undermine public trust in key institutions responsible for safeguarding the nation's health, security, and democratic principles.
