I am writing as a concerned and disgusted constituent to urge you to do the right thing and reject the deeply harmful and dishonest budget murder bill proposal currently advancing in Congress. Despite blatant lies about the bill, review of the bill reveals that it is nothing more than a massive tax giveaway to the ultra-wealthy and corporations. The latest nonpartisan analysis shows that extending the Trump-era tax cuts will cost the country $4.6 trillion over the next decade. This reckless move will either explode the deficit or force cuts to essential programs like Medicaid, housing, food assistance, and education—all to further enrich oligarchs. This bill is built on lies: that trickle-down economics helps ordinary Americans, that slashing public services is necessary, and that we can continue prioritizing tax breaks for billionaires without consequences. Enough is enough. Families in our state need support, not sabotage. I demand that you speak the truth and stand up for your constituents—not special interests—by voting NO on this budget bill. Your vote will determine whether working people thrive or are further pushed to the margins. Please do the right thing.
