I just read that you are going to vote in favor of the SAVE act. This is a voter suppression act. It pretends to solve a made up problem while keeping legal citizens from voting. It suppresses the votes of the poor and of women. It needlessly complicates what should be a simple procedure. Voting is the responsibility of all citizens. When you make it unnecessarily complex, you undermine democracy and compromise your credibility. If you can only get elected by suppressing groups that generally support your opponents, then you are not legitimate and do not deserve to govern.
