Remove U.S.-Israel Military Integration From the NDAA
To: Rep. Crow, Sen. Hickenlooper, Sen. Bennet
From: A verified voter in Littleton, CO
June 25
I demand that Congress reject any version of the FY2027 NDAA that contains the United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative. In the House, this provision is now Section 219, formerly Section 224. In the Senate, the companion language appears as Section 1217. Both must be removed. The House Rules Committee must make every amendment to strike Section 219 in order so the full House can vote on removing it. Do not bury this amendment. Do not block a floor vote. Let Congress vote. Every House Representative must vote YES on any amendment to strike Section 219. Every Senator must submit, co-sponsor, and vote YES on any amendment to strike Section 1217. If this language survives into conference, every conferee must demand its removal from the final NDAA. If the final NDAA contains this U.S.-Israel military integration language, every member of Congress must vote NO. This provision is unacceptable. It would create a Pentagon-led structure to deepen U.S.-Israel military-industrial integration through joint weapons research, Israeli-origin technology integration into U.S. military systems, procurement pathways, co-production, licensing agreements, information-sharing, data fusion, joint training, AI, cyber, autonomous systems, missile defense, counter-drone systems, and defense manufacturing partnerships. That is not ordinary aid. It is worse. It would embed Israel into U.S. military technology, weapons development, defense supply chains, and future-war planning while making the relationship harder to see, harder to challenge, and harder to unwind. The United States should not enter this kind of integrated military partnership with any country. It is especially outrageous to do so with Israel, a state responsible for illegal occupation, apartheid, ethnic cleansing, siege, forced displacement, war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, and catastrophic regional destabilization. Americans are demanding an end to U.S. weapons transfers and military support for Israel. Congress must not respond by hiding that support inside Pentagon bureaucracy, defense contracts, research programs, procurement pipelines, and military technology partnerships. Remove this provision completely. Make the strike amendment in order. Vote YES to strike it. Reject any NDAA that keeps it. No joint weapons development. No co-production. No data-sharing. No military-industrial merger. No reward for genocide.
