Not Business as Usual!

To: Sen. McCormick, Rep. Scanlon, Sen. Fetterman

From: A constituent in Marcus Hook, PA

November 5

I did not vote for Democrats because I think you all did such a great job in the past. I just think you are less bad. I am tired of seeing the battle of your billionaires vs. their billionaires. Get the money out of politics – both sides! Using insider information to buy stocks is corruption. That’s your corruption. It’s not as bad as their corruption, but there should be no corruption! Pass a law banning it for any elected official from investing in stocks. I do not want to see revenge taken against anyone, but that is not the same as holding people accountable illegally. You must investigate the lawlessness of everyone in the Trump administration. We are a country of laws not of men. And so, when anyone, regardless of office, breaks the law, they must be held to account in a court of law. We are in this mess because Garland failed to do his job. He held back because of the office someone used to hold. That is not a country of laws – that is a country of men. Do not make the same mistake. If we do not hold people to account, we are leaving the door open to allow it to happen again.
