Today is the 5th anniversary of the day my best friend was shot in the spine and left to die on the frozen ground of a Chicagoland Wendy’s parking lot. Yesterday I read about two boys who are being charged with murder of a store owner in SE Portland. To say guns are too available is an understatement. Common sense gun laws should be the norm and are the accepted and proven practice in most other democratic countries in the world. Pass common sense gun laws now.
