I’m writing to express concern about the lack of transparency and congressional approval related to President Trumps attack on the sovereign nation of Venezuela. There’s no love lost for Maduro but we have no business overthrowing the government of another country. Did you authorize this? If not, what will you do to hold the President accountable for ignoring the war powers of Congress? If he’s allowed to do it due to prior terrorism actions, what will you do to change those laws? Please do not abdicate your oversight responsibilities!!
