I am a constituent in Lubbock 79423. Did you know that Meals on Wheels for seniors here is affected by the federal spending pause as well as many things at Texas Tech and I don’t know what else. The Congress has the power of the purse according to what I learned in high school. I don’t think it has changed since then because we learned this is in Article 1 of the Constitution. Please let the executive branch know you won’t tolerate having Congress’s power stolen. Refuse to confirm OMB director until our tax dollars are again flowing to Texas as appropriated.
