The Kilmer Abrego Garcia cases is given me much concern. We are a nation ruled by law. The Supreme Court, our third check on power, has stated that this man deportation was wrong. He should return to the USA. Regardless of the merits of should he have been here in the first place, that’s a separate issue that needs to be adjudicated. My concern is the president refusing to follow SCOTUS. We cannot have that ever. If SCOTUS overstep their boundaries Congress can rein them in or impeach any justice they believe has not followed their oath. What we can never have is the Executive Branch ignore the court. The executive must respect the court order. I’m asking you to speak with the president and tell him this man should be returned here. Face the court and if it’s determined he should be deported THEN send him back to his country of origin as a FREE man, Not to some El Salvadoran torture camp especially when he’s been charged with no crime. This is unAmerican.
