In defiance of a federal judge's order, the Trump administration deported an immigrant asylum seeker in violation of due process. This situation represents a severe violation of due process and undermines the constitutional principle of checks and balances. The executive branch has a constitutional obligation to comply with lawful court orders, and willfully defying a federal judge's order sets a dangerous precedent that threatens the rule of law. Deporting individuals without affording them their legal rights circumvents established procedures and erodes civil liberties that are fundamental to our democracy. As a constituent, I urge you to use your authority to hold the administration accountable, ensuring all wrongfully deported individuals are returned and provided due process as mandated by the courts and the Constitution. Defending these constitutional principles is essential to preserving our system of government. The administration defied an order from Judge Emmet Sullivan, and the Supreme Court unanimously held against Trump on this issue. Please uphold your obligations to the constitution and your office by stopping President Trump as only Congress can avert this constitutional crisis.
